Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra

Sup guys! School is fucking me up as usual, so i wont be blogging as much compared to holidays. The book of bantorra, it may sounds retarded but it is definitely one hell of a good show! Seen this show on advertisment during last year's AFA, seems nice so i decided to give it a go. Starting was pretty plain, nothing much worth orgasmic. Later episodes, it just gets progressively better and better. Everything from the previous episodes starts to come in place one by one, creating a plot so strong that is enough to blow your mind off! There are action scenes of course, not too 'flashy' but its good enough. You might get a little disappointed with how it ends, just not satisfying enough!!! Released on october 2009, with a total of 27 episodes.

Rating: 8/10
The show starts off mysteriously, revealing that a woman Hamyuts Meseta is to be killed. It was only minutes later before we learn that Hamyuts is actually the leader of the Bantorra library. In a world where people died, people turn into stone books (anyone who read these books, can learn the person's past). These books were kept in the bantorra library, protected by armed librarians with Hamyuts as the strongest librarian. However, there were those who uses these books for sinister purposes. These people were of the Church of Drowning, the enemy of the Bantorra library. As more characters get into the story, the truth will starts to unveil itself. WHO ARE THE BAD GUYS?? Watch it for yourself~
The show is stunning when it comes to the plot. Marvellous setup of individual character stories, then combining all of them into something just that mindblowing!! Starting episodes may be boring and some of which dont even make sense but its all just temporary. Slowly, you will start to realise the crazyness of this show. THE CRAZYNESS OF HOW FAST CHARACTERS DIE!!! Characters that you think are OP and will only die in the last few episodes, in fact they die in the first 2 episodes. Thats how legit this show is, unpredictable shit bro!

Action scenes, there are plenty. Some of which may be stupid, while some are indeed long and satisfying duels. Its just that the ending is somewhat disappointing. The 20 episode setup successfully brought up the immense suspense, but the ending just fails to bring out something great from the suspense. Oh well, the show was a great experience nonetheless!

Opening 1 is Datenkoku Sensen by Ali project. Opening 2 is Seisai no Ripeno by Sasaki Sayaka. I prefer the 2nd opening though, perhaps i am still not used to ali project.
