Relaying from my previous post, here comes Season 2 of Shakugan no shana! I would assume you guys had watched season 1, you would have know that 'Bal masque' targets the Reiji maigo that is kept within Yuji's body, flame hazes fought against them in order to not let their scheme succeed. In the end of season 1, none of the bad guys died. That itself is the best hint that there will definitely be a season 2, and Yes, there is indeed a season 2! Season 2 comes with a greater plot, new characters and continued romance. I would say Season 2 is better than the 1st, with the right amount of every aspects present in it. Season 1 deserves a thumbs up, Season 2 deserves a double thumbs up!

My rating : 9/10

Previously in season 1, countless battles were fought between flame hazes and tomogara's. In season 2, these type of battles would not be left out (so dont worry about the lacking of action). While stuff like romance, would be more frequent than in season 1. People who loved those type of complicated-triangle love stuff, should definitely go for season 2. Expect these 3 tomogara's to be back in action (Hecate, Bel Peol and Sydonay) with a greater scheme than ever!

To me, Season 2 is better than the 1st. Some of you guys might prefer the 1st season though. Yes, i respect that, since thats the case for my friend. Shana is still the same cute girl from season 1, who goes yelling 'urusai, urusai, urusai!' whenever she is embarrassed. So yeah, this anime is awesome!! Theres also news for a Season 3. Expected to come out in late 2011 (Oct/Nov/Dec). Get hyped people!!!

Opening songs for season 2, there are 2. 1st opening is 'Joint', by Mami kawada. 2nd opening is 'Blaze', by Kotoko. Once again, collaboration between these 2 artists, which i would say is the BEST!! Both of them, being my favourite Jap artists just have what it takes to capture my ears everytime! These 2 songs are great, i would say time is required in order to appreciate them. Great stuff!
