The month is ending, there goes my holidays. Oh well at least i am satisfied with what i am doing so far pratically gaming, drawing and watching animes. Talking about drawing, i am still at it but maybe not as active as in the past. I have completed needless drawings like way long ago, probably just faces and half-bodies. Still, i think they are not bad so i decided to do a tribute!!

1. Saten
Personal rating: 8/10

I think i did pretty well for face drawings, since its easier and less time-consuming than full body drawings. Drew his grin and eyes right. Face focused, hair is thicker which makes it easier and less eye straining. Saten's sinister expression?? You got it right there!!

2. Aruka Schild
Personal rating: 8.5/10

A very satisfying drawing by me! I managed to draw her snake eyes right, which probably already give this drawing its 'life'. Hair is as usual thick, which i think i should darken the lines of her hair more. It just looks awesome, at least to me.

3. Disk
Personal rating: 8/10

Yet another satisfied one. I think i drew her hair pretty well, it just looks beautiful!! Her left eye looks weird if you were to focus on it, but overall it still looks pretty okay. The only reason i draw her = LOLIS FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. Setsuna
Personal rating: 6/10

Half-body drawings for now. This was kinda a failed drawing of mine. It looks good overall if it was just a random, regular drawing. But if you relate this to Setsuna, the person in this drawing looks more like a cool GUY rather than a girl. A failed drawing of gender indeed.

5. Seto
Personal drawing: 9/10

Probably my best needless drawing!! Clear outlines and my first successful side boob drawing!!! You might not know, but i suck at drawing boobs. I either drew them out of shape or it will just be complete flat, dam saddening. I also didnt expect the sword to turn out fine, just basically shade the shit out of it since its insignificant.

Thats about it. These are the best 5 among my needless drawings, at least they don look buffed or whatever shit! The drawings comments are just mine, you dont have to agree with me. There will be more tributes coming up, but definitely not anytime soon. Stay tune fools~

Just finished this show like 30 minutes ago. I got intro-ed by a friend that this show is sadder than angel beats, so i decided to give it a try. I admit that angel beats made me hold back tears, still not to the extend of shedding yet. But anohana did it, it fucking did it!!!!! A total of 11 episodes, released in april 2011.

Rating: 9/10
The 6 of them were once best childhood friends until 1 of them, 'Menma' dies in a accident. They started drifting apart from one another after the incident, each living their own seperate lifes hoping to forget the tragedy. 10 years later, the ghost of Menma appears before Jinta Yadomi (main character) asking him to grant her a wish which she herself forgets. Suspecting the wish to be related to his no-longer-close friends, Jinta gathers them hoping to help Menma so she could pass on peacefully.
This show is freaking touching i swear, any humans would hold back tears or at least feel sad at the end. The ending is easy to guess just by the first few episodes, but you will still be held back at the end unless your some emotionless freak being!! Starting can be really confusing, especially if you did not read the plot. You would be like 'what the fuck is going on?' 'who the fuck are these people??'. No worries, things will become clear pretty quick.

Thats probably the only 'dislikes' i could find. Show is short, flaws are little. Opening is Aoi Shiori by Galileo Galilei. Pleasing to the ear at once, at least to me. A non-action show that keeps you watching on and on, no words can describe just OPPPPP!!!

More fate related stuff!! Fighting animes usually have their game debuts later on, fate stay night of course is no exception to that trend. I have done reviews of its series and movie, and now will be its game! Released on the psp, december 2008.

Goods: Smooth and fun gameplay,unique roster, good amount of interesting unlockables, mission mode is entertaining as hell, online is simple and fine

Bads: Confusing story, skill list is a mess, cpu opponents are pure dumbsters, certain 'weird' modes
-The WIN parts of the game. Smooth gameplay, combos can be executed fluently. Pressing the right inputs for a combo never felt this smooth before, just 5 minutes of the game and you will be engrossed already! Along with its unique elements like the 'reflect dash' and 'burst' which enables players to pick up their opponents from where they left off, allowing for more combo potential. It can also serves as a break away if you are being cornered. Once you are able to grasp these elements, thats when all the fun will start pouring in!!

-Unique roster. About 13 characters at the start, more can be unlocked later on. Every individual is different, each having their own unique style of fighting. There are users of the sword/spear/chains/gaunlets/fragments and even dual spears if you care to play on. All the characters seen in the anime, you can expect them to appear in the game while accompanied with some new characters as well.
-Good amount of interesting unlockables. Illustrations, videos, character models, costumes, characters, modes. All of which requires time and effort to achieve , not just by playing a couple of arcades or so. The illustrations and costumes are nice to look at, characters and modes are fun to play along with more.

-Mission mode is hella entertaining!! This is the 1st time i ever spend hour and hours into missions, learning hella lot of combos but could only remember a couple of them. Oh well, its fun at least. Some missions dont make fucking sense, still it doesnt really affect the gameplay so its alright.

-Online is simple and fine. I tried online local with a friend, just click on the persons name and we are in the character selection room already unlike those long complicated room menus. Other than minor lag, theres nothing else that affects online greatly.
-The LOSS parts of the game. Confusing storyline, mostly due to the new characters. Story mode in this game is just arcade mode. The new characters are all somehow linked to the 'already present' characters, like their nanny, ex-master etc. Its so vague that i barely understand who or where they come from, it seems like they just sudden pop out from the ground or something.

-Skill list is a mess. Its unclear with all those unknown 'short forms'. Some of the skill requirements dont even make fucking sense, until i have to trial and error to figure it out myself. Messy and poor design are the words i use to describe the skill list.

-CPU opponents are dumbsters. This should not be a surprise, ais standing on the spot till die or punching the air while shes at the far end of the screen. Only at the hardest difficulty then they pose a decent challenge. Normal mode ais are just wood blocks, hands down.

-Certain 'weird' modes, actually only one. Spectate mode, where you watch 2 cpu fighting against each other. What the fuck?!? Watching normal modes cpu fight is a pure insult to the player. Even the hardest difficulty cpu fight feels so stiff like they are being manipulate by puppeteers or something.
People who like fate stay night should definitely play this game (if you have a psp that is). Those who yet to watch, this is also a legit fighting game for you. Rough idea of the story and smooth gameplay that captures you quick, not a bad game indeed.

My first anime movie review!! It will be something similar to my usual reviews or maybe shorter. This movie was advertised at the last episode of fate stay night, and sure enough i was quite interested. I got the movie from my classmate who downloaded it, credits to him. This movie was just alright, not too good not too bad. Starting to middle part was pretty good, later on was just complicated and unappealing. I dont know about you guys, but it just fails to capture my attention to the end. No new characters as well, sadly.

I would say this is actually a remake of 24 episodes of Fate Stay Night into a 1 hour 40 minutes movie. Still the original setting is still about the same, 7 magicians fighting for the sake of the holy grail but now with a little suprise at the end! The main focus will still be on Shiro, but dont worry Saber does have her ample screen time for this one!! Tohsaka and archer will still be their 'allies', teaming up against the rest.
Since i said this movie feels like a 24 episodes cramped together, everything feels so fast-paced. Perhaps too fast that i could not fully enjoy certain scenes. Action scenes is also sped up, which may not be a good thing. Appearance of any new characters...............NO. Sorry to break the news but there isnt any new addition. Other than the last unappealing 30 minutes or so, this movie is still quite legit. Simple introduction and easy-to-understand plot allows anyone (even those who didnt watch the fate series) to grasp onto the story right away! Graphics-wise, its probably the best that i ever seen.

No opening song for this movie, just some kickass music. Compared to fate stay night, this movie has lesser solid/detailed fights but definitely more stuff added into the plot!! Give it a try, you may like it.

A game review finally, but not a very impressive one. Call of duty, being one of the most played/common 1st person shooting genre so far. This alone makes me decided to give this game a try. Call of Duty: Roads to Victory is a very old game, released march 2007. Made for the psp, so dont expect too much. Without further delay, here goes the review.

My rating: 6/10

Goods: Decent gameplay, several unlockables, missions are graded (serves as a motivation to redo for a better grade).

Bads: Poor story, poor graphics, controls is messed up when you first start off (time is needed to adapt), bonus material is crap and unnecessary, stupid glitches

Another anime review, since i got more completed animes compared to games. Fate stay night is a legit fighting show, with a straightforward plot easy for anyone to understand without racking your brains. Starting episodes may be boring with the introduction and stuff, but it gets better as the show progresses. Some characters may piss you the hell off at times with them being stubborn and act-all-hero. Amount of action is good, fighting scenes gets more flashy as the show goes on. This should be the way, rather than limiting the action through the whole damn show! Released in 2006, with a total of 24 episodes.

All done with cosfest, so i guess its back to reviewing! I will be doing an anime review today, game reviews can come later. A typical anime of plot, with general action/fights in between. The starting is cool, interesting enough to keep you watching on. As it gets further, amount of talking and other stuff > amount of action. I dont know about you guys, but it lowers my anticipation for more. It can also get confusing at times, with several scenes and unknown characters. The plot is okay, action is good probably the one feature that keeps me watching till the end! Released in early 2009, a total of 24 episodes.

In the world of Regios, people lived in mobile cities. Beyond these cities lies a contaminated earth overrun by mutated beasts namely Filth monsters. People are to learn military arts, in order to defend against these pests. Layfon Alseif, an unknown military artist arrived in the academy city of Zulleni. Being caught in a sudden conflict, he was quickly noticed by Nina Antalk (Captain of the 17th unit) and was forcefully recruited into the squad. Who is this mysterious layfon guy? Why is he here in Zulleni? Care to find out, watch the show.
Chrome shelled regios is a good show, given its stunning combat against the monsters and other military artists. Refreshing setting of the show, held in a hazardous world of Filth monsters and academy cities. There goes the good part of the show. The bad part of the show starts here.
1. Further in the anime, amount of talking > amount of action. Some of which does not even relate to the plot, like the story of individual characters that have no importance to the plot even till the end. There were parts when they fight (everyone was expecting a good fight) and when they face each other, all they do is TALK! (thats only like 1-2 times in the show)
2. Confusing events of the show. Those who know what i am talking about, the black-white scenes. In the end, little or even no one knows whats the relation. Some characters still remains a mystery. Who knows, they may be planning a season 2!
3. This is just personal. The ending wasnt that satisfying to me, i expect more of a fight rather than just a single hit.

Opening song is Brave your truth, by Daisy x Daisy. Catchy to the ear once you heard it, make sure you go and download it like right now!! Giving this show a 7.5 would be just right, given the good and bads. So yeah, i guess thats all for today!

You guys should have seen this coming, my top 5 cosplayers of the recent cosfest! With the increase number of photos taken this year round, theres no damn reason that i could not come out with a decent 5 unlike in last years AFA. It may not be all individual cosplayers, some were in groups and simply look pretty damn good! Anyway, lets drop the practise of being ranked-oriented, all of them are exceptionally good! Here it goes....
Persona 4 main character along with his persona! I would love to play this game, but could only if i have the PS vita. No doubt, one of the most cool looking stuff that you will longed for in any event! If only the guy in front of me didnt stood up while i was taking...... Nonetheless, something as cool as this arent commonly seen and of course deserve a placing in my top 5!
D-grayman!! Allen walker and his 2 companions, i guess (yet to watch this show). Great costumes, great pose, great trio! The guy on the left looks badness with the eyepatch and headband. Girl on the right, pretty and slender of style! Allen walker himself, doesnt really make my mark. I am not saying hes bad, just that maybe i am expecting more? But still, one of the best!
How could i ever miss something as OP as this!!! A group photo of the blazblue characters (not all, but at least those who are present at the event). 5 of them present this year compared to last year where there arent even 2, definitely an improvement and service for the fans! I am not gonna talk about individuals as they are all equally good. Just the overall, 5 of them together......Marvellous~
Accelerator and last order!!! At first i didnt know, just find that the girl's costume seems familiar untill my friend told me. I cant really recognise accelerator (even now, the only resemblence i find is his hair). I kinda like last order over here, shes as cute as in the anime (at least to me!). I really like this photo, meaning the cute relationship between these 2. So yeah, definitely a placing in my top 5!

That ends the entire cosfest feb 2012. One of my most satisfied cosplayers post ever, so damn good!! Anyways, july cosfest is around the corner so be sure to anticipate more photos! Until then, seeya~

Concluded day 1 in my last post, moving on to day 2! More cosplayers and more on stage focus, which is definitely a good thing for camera fools like me!! Day 1 was more on kicking off the start of the event, registration, introduction etc. Day 2 is the performances and more stage shows. I didn really watch the stage show due to the overwhelming crowd, so me and my friend just took the chance to explore all the small shops when everyone's attention was on the stage. I didn bought much at the end of the day, just some A4 and A2 posters. Make a great deal actually, 9 A2 posters for just $8 (normally it would be 1 for $3). So yeah kinda glad. Day 2 was hella lot of photo taking, so yeah do expect more photos than day 1!!
More of royalty mikus and lukas, not a bad thing indeed. I do expect more vocaloids cosplayers that day being a sunday. Anyway, good stuff by these 2 ladies!

That concludes day 2. I did not really enjoy the stage show, just heard various singing (some good some just being over hyped). Leaving the event hall feeling satisfied with the photos, and also the stuff bought. Anyways, there seems to be another cosfest in the coming July which i will be sure to attend again. If theres nothing else, i will sign off here!
