Jubeat Knit

My first ever arcade game that i am gonna review, Jubeat knit. A really addictive game once you had your hands on it! I started like last 3-4 months ago, until today i am still playing it. Jubeat is a music game developed by Konami, one of the most popular company that is into the development of music-related games. There are several versions of jubeat, the version i am playing till now is Jubeat Knit. However there are also other versions, Jubeat ripples being the first, followed up by Jubeat append and then Jubeat knit. One better than the previous, which i would say its good as we players could enjoy the game much better. This game machine costs around SGD$9000 if you were to buy it, and i can say there is indeed people who are crazy enough to buy it! And of course, they are the best ones out there, setting excellent records that thousands of people are unable to achieve. Really fun game that brings the limits of your fingers/sight/reflexes to a whole new level that you would never experience anywhere other than JUBEAT!

Gamefaqs rating : 9.5/10
My rating : 9/10

Goods : Creative gameplay style. Whole lot of songs to choose from. E-amusement card stores data and new records set. Variety of notes to choose from. Local and online play are enabled.

Bads : Faulty touchscreen at times. Inequal sound systems in machines (some loud, some soft). Settings are in japanese (Those do not know japanese are at disadvantage).
When its about the arcade, tokens comes in place. Yes. jubeat does require tokens in order to play it. In singapore, it requires 3 tokens which will enables you to play 3 songs of your choice in the available song list. So it can be said 1 token for 1 song. Individual song length of about 1-2 minute, so 3 songs would take you around 5 minutes. A fairly good amount of time along with a reasonable price of gameplay!
-Touching on the gameplay, Jubeat functions in a way that uses 16 buttons in a 4x4 grid for gameplay, a really creative gameplay style i would say! One of the finest music game present in the arcade currently, accompany with reflecbeat etc. that comes after it. Jubeat works in the way, as songs selected are played, 'notes' will appear within these 16 buttons. 'Notes' will appear accordingly to the beats of the song and the difficulty selected. Simply said, this game is played by 'tapping what you see'. Sounds easy eh..... but as notes gets faster and begins to appear in ridiculous patterns, be prepared for your eyes and fingers to get fucked big time! A really awesome experience if you were to ask me.
-Next up, the vast number of songs available. Before talking more, i would assume you guys would already pocessed the e-amusment card (or other similar cards), so you would be able to unlocked way more songs other than only the licensed songs stored in the Jubeat machine itself. Song count of about 50 or more, tunes mainly from countries like Japan/Korea/Hong kong/Macau and Taiwan (providing a wide variety of tunes to choose from). There will definitely be at LEAST 1 song that will interest you, unless you are some old dude that only listens to cantonese/hokkien song, then i would say this game is definitely not for you!
-Great variety of notes to choose from as well. These 'notes' are known as markers in the game, which you will be seeing and tapping throughout the game. Choose the marker that suits you and let the fun starts!
-Local and online play are available. Local play would mean able to play with your friend that is right beside you, playing the same tunes but still able to choose your own difficulty, good stuff! Online play would mean whenever you select a song, you will get matched-up with people around the world who are playing the same tune that you select at the exact same time! Cool shit isnt it.......and if you are lucky, you might get matched up with the all-stars like II-L-Y and  Y.S-Y!
-Ok, now i will conclude about Jubeat knit. The E-amusement card allows your play data to be saved so during your future plays, you will be able to see your scores/records that you achieved in your previous plays. I would really advised anyone who starts this game to get the card, it can be purchased from the counter of your arcade. Some of the flaws of this game is minor, like faulty buttons and sound systems. Faulty buttons are due to players pressing way too hard on the buttons, causing it to malfunction. However, no worries, just regular maintenace would do the job. So i would also advise you guys to check on the buttons of the machine before you decide to go for a roll on Jubeat.
-There will also be a bonus song everyday, that would mean if you play the bonus song, you will be able to get 1.5X exp for that song. The bonus song is random, so do not expect the bonus song to be the same everyday. There will be different ranks in the game, the higher you go, the better you get and more songs will be unlocked. Events are also present (like once in a few months). For example take it for now, 4 tunes instead of 3 for only 3 tokens. Though 1 extra tune might sound little, but it means alot for players like us. Thank you konami!!
This game is still popular if you were to ask me. Even though it is released in 2008, it is still able to maintained its popularity among people like us through its amazing features! Dont be discouraged if you failed a tune or did not meet your expectations. Practise makes perfect, just keep practising and achievements will be awaiting you! (However that would also mean more $$$, so just do as you deem fit). Jubeat copius is the next update coming after Jubeat knit, so do expect a whole new and better experience!
A video speaks a million words, heres one random video to show you guys what Jubeat is like- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwPG2p1Bi38&feature=related

Have a nice day!

Devil may cry: The animated series

Devil may cry, one of my favourite action games from cacpom. However, today i am not gonna talk about anything related to games. Dont worry, its still devilmaycry, but its the anime! A total of 12 episodes, mainly for fan-service. The animated series i would say, are for those who cant get enough of demon-slaying in just the devilmaycry games. In the anime, its kind of similar to the plot in the games, demon-slaying! Bloodshed is obviously unavoidable, awakening of cool-ass demons and of course the greatness of Dante! This anime is released in 2007, before the released of devilmaycry 4, so do not expect Nero to be in it. This anime i would say, 75% demon-slaying and 25% story. So do not look too forward that this devilmaycry would provide a intensive plot that would mindfucked you.

My rating : 6.5/10
The main character everyone would expect, is obviously Dante! For those who might not know who he is, dante is half-human, half-demon. His father is the legendary dark knight, Sparda (demon), while his mom is a human. In the anime, dante is a private investigator, always lying around in his office and taking up jobs regarding demons. These jobs were of course easily taken care of by dante, earning him a reputation in dealing with the supernatural. Although dante cleared many of these jobs, his debts just keep increasing, being the fact that properties are destroyed when carrying out his job which also leaves dante being poor throughout the whole anime. Some unique features of dante is also revealed in the show, like being fond of strawberry sundaes and pizza's without olives.

You can expect demon-slaying in almost every episode. Characters previously present in the games, would also appear in the show (Trish, Lady etc.). This show is good at some points (cool-ass action, girls fights and story twist etc.) but it still does have its flaws.
1. Dante is way overpowered, to the fact that ANY demons he encounters would be killed in less than a minute. All either being killed by 1 slash from his sword or the rampaging of his pistols. Demons died way too fast, kind of spoiling the intense atmosphere.
2. Some parts where you would expect a great fight, and the whole scene just got cut off and dante is seen back to his office, completing the job. A total turnoff!
A average anime to me. I would not say its real good or it sucks big time, its still okay to me. Opening music would be D.M.C by rungran. I think its cool, sounds great for a devilmaycry anime! I did not download it though but i will still put the download link here. Its only a 1-2 minute music, so dont expect it to be the same length as a song.

Have a nice day!

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (Character impressions part 1)

Here comes the Ultimate battle! A upgrade version of the original marvel vs capcom 3 i would say, something new to expect eh? Yes, of course there will definitely be something new awaiting us. 12 new characters, 8 new stages and a refined fighting system! This ultimate version makes up for the flaws previously in marvel vs capcom 3, for example the spectator mode etc. Spectator mode is now available for players online to view matches instead of just watching cards bang one another. Previously in mvc3, there is a total of 38 characters. In this ultimate version, there will be a roster of 50 characters to choose from, a wider variety to choose from!
A refined fighting system, i would guess they make certain characters with better combo capability and way cooler hypers. One example would be Ryu's shinkuu hadoken able to bounce off the wall, covering almost 3/4 of the screen. Previously in mvc3, it was just a straight wave. Another example would be spencer, he is now able to do a air stomp, which can help in strengthening combo's. Previoulsy in mvc3, he could only do a downward anchor grab when he is in the air. Character's hp and hyper bars are also modified, making it seems like a whole new package.
Despite all the new changes being implemented, the main issue is about the characters! And yes, i will be giving my 1st impressions of 4 chracters, basically the ones that are already being officially known to the world. Strider, Firebrand, Ghost rider and Hawkeye. The other 8 characters are already being leaked online last 1-2 days though, so we just have to wait for capcom to release offiical trailers for these remaining 8. Ok, i have talked too much crap, lets get down to the characters right away!
Starting on the capcom side, we have Strider Hiryu, a highly demanded character! I have never played him on mvc2, so i cant do a comparison. In UMVC3, his movement is real fast and even possessing the ability to teleport. A real threat to anyone i would say. His normal hyper is OTG, with mecha's rushing forward and his level 3 hyper is just way awesome. Putting him in UMVC3 would just mean challenging wesker in terms of speed! Character design is cool and i am really looking forward to using him. Great stuff!
Next up, Firebrand. I have never seen this creature before. Some midget i would say, similar to viewtiful joe and arthur, however still a decent character. In UMVC3, he has good combo capability, being able to drag opponent to one corner for a wall bounce and then carry on comboing. Sick technique! His normal hyper is also OTG, some purple flame blast. The hyper where he turns white, i dont know what the hell that does, maybe some increased stats? His level 3 hyper is lame i would say, summoning a mini creature like himself and it will attack randomly, quite similar to one of felicia's hyper. Character design is pretty fine. I would not mind him jioning the roster, but still i wont use him as much as strider.
Moving to the marvel side, we have Ghost rider! Kinda glad he is in the game, since he is one of my wished DLC character for marvel. A melee dormammu eh, thats my view of him. In UMVC3, he looks great, being able do decent combos with his chain. He is also able to OTG with his hellfire and then a immediate hyper, good stuff! His normal hyper is cool, swinging his fire chain over a wide range. The other hyper is OTG, where he uses his flame bike to lift you off the damn ground!! His level 3 hyper is plain but still stylish in a way.'Look into my eyes....', and his opponent just burst out in flames after that. Divine punishment eh? Character design is good. I will be anticipating ghost rider as well, cool stuff he has there!
Last character for the day, Hawkeye. I have heard about this faggot before, some kind of a archer. Nothing impressive about him i would say. In UMVC3, he will be shooting all kinds of arrows (triple arrows, ice arrow etc.) and meleeing with his bow. Wtf? Melee with his bow you serious!? He just looks like a complete idiot doing that. One of his skill is able to OTG and then a immediate hyper, but all i could say are his hypers are shit! His normal hyper, which shoots a gold arrow presents weakass damage. His other normal hyper would be shooting arrows in the sky and then descending down, kinda similar to taskmaster's hyper. Nothing special i would say. His level 3 hyper combo shows him shooting a arrow with a really small guy standing on the tip of the arrow. This small guy then transforms into a giant, kicks and punch the opponent, and then ending with a stomp. Wtf is this man, some circus shit? Deadpool level 3 hyper would owned it anytime. Character design is boring, no comments. I dont think i will ever use him in the game.

Concluding, i have done my impressions for the 4 current official characters. Stay tune as capcom releases official trailers for the rest of the new members, and i will do my 1st impressions on them as well. I am just hoping that capcom will put all of these as a DLC for the original mvc3, although the chances are low but still there is a 1% chance!

Have a nice day!

Resistance: Fall of man

This is my first ever ps3 game i bought, along with my ps3. Resistance is a first-person shooter, very similar to most of the shooting games currently. I am kinda glad for that, as this game being 3D gonna be real shitty. Just as its name suggest, this game is about humans resisting against foreign invasion. Alien invasion!!! Though it may sounds very common and boring, the plot and gameplay is definitely not boring. These 'aliens' are known as chimera in the game, and YOU takes on the role of Sergeant Nathan Hale to infiltrate and eliminate these chimera's. This game is released in 2006, it might be old but definitely not those dumb/predictive alien games you play on your GBA or ps2. It is the 1st ps3 game that ever sold over 1 million copies after its release, and i would say it is worth its title, being the fact that i have experienced it myself too. Moving down to the details.....

Gamefaqs rating : 8.1/10
My rating : 8/10
Estimated playtime : 14 hours +

Goods : Variety of weapons, intensive surroundings/background, challenging AIs, unique online modes (Meltdown, Breach etc.).

Bads : Story is abit unclear, movements are rough at times. Online allows 40 players in 1 match (Can be real messy).

-First of all, gameplay. Resistance's gameplay is good, providing all the experience required in any shooters. Basic functions like zoom, switching between weapons and melee are all available. You are also able to switch weapons with dead aliens, pick up additional ammo and health capsules. I would say nothing major is missed out, all captured in one solid package. Guns firing are always fun. In resistance, exchanging shots with enemies can actually be real exciting and mind-blowing. AIs in resistance are not your usual AIs where a few bullets will knock them down. Instead, AIs in resistance will actually flinch and then retaliate again (what i mean is that AIs will get knock back from your shots and then get back up to shoot). They are also able to hide behind objects as sheilds from your shots, reappear and then hide again. I would say they are tough, in the sense that they are more of intelligent AIs, rather than dumb ones that would face you head on. With these 'intelligent' AIs, this game is made more fun and challenging, rather than just a walk-over. Not to forget, epic boss fights!
-There are also times where YOU have to be quick on your reflexes, ambushing/escaping groups of enemies. Can be very tensed, but satisfying much if you managed to take them out. Melee attacks in resistance would just be shoving with your gun, knifing aliens would just be stupid. This game also have features like being able to shake off enemies when they grab on you. There will be a wide variety of aliens, some required more shots to be killed, some require less, so there is no need to worry about fighting the same hordes throughout the game. This will settle for the campaign/single player mode.
-For the multiplayer online, i would say its pretty fine. Basic modes like free-for-all deathmatch and team deathmatch are of course available. There will also be other modes like Breach (Infiltrate enemy's base), Meltdown (Capturing nodes) and team flagmatch etc. So you do not need to worry that online matches would bore you within days. You have the choice of choosing to be on the human side or the alien side, and of course you would expect different stats (Aliens have higher hp but slower speed, humans have lower hp but faster speed etc.). There is the ranked match as well, the higher you advanced, you are able to unlock better weapons and characters.
-In this game, there is a wide range of room size for online players (16/24/32/40), and a large variety of maps to choose from, each suiting the size of the room that you are playing in. Players are able to communicate with one another through bluetooth/USB headset, making online gameplay more intense in some sense. One more thing i would applaud resistance for, is that it is one of the most lag-less online that i have played on the ps3, which makes online gameplay so much smoother and enjoyable for players online.
*These various modes are also available for the offline multiplayer.
-Now i will talk about the various factors of the game has to offer. The variety of weapons is really great. Different weapons can be acquired after killing aliens or just randomly roaming around the map. More weapons can also be unlocked by clearing the game and replaying it again, which makes it less bored for players who wants to give this game a 2nd try. Some weapons are also really unique, in the sense that you wont be able to see them in many of the shooter games out there. For example, a sniper rifle that can slow time, laser shots can  penetrate through walls and a launcher that can shoot out slime bombs. Different type of grenades are also available, rather than just seeing it go BOOM, there are kinds where it is able to create a barrier after denotation. Satisfying much.
-The factor that makes this game intensive are the atmospheres/background. Anyone who played this game before would know wherever you encounter enemies, there will always be dead bodies lying around/cars on fire/smoke emitting from nowhere. Walking past wastelands, destroyed properties, narrow alleys and  splattered blood really keep you in the mindset that 'something is not right', 'this world is over', those kind of thoughts, that will keep you alert throughout as aliens would just appear from nowhere or camping and sniping. Real good setting!
-However as every game has its flaws, this game has it too. Kinda detailed story, as there are lots of cutscene. But, they are mostly in words and stagnant images, unless you pay real attentive to it, if not you could not really get the full hang of the story. The ending is open-minded and abit unclear, i will not spoiled it for those who have yet to play this.
-Movements are rough at times, in terms of vehicles and up-down movements. Nothing serious though, but i just find it a bother to me. Online rooms that accomodate 40 players, to me its just too big. Maps will be incredibly large (hard to find enemies), and when players come together to fight, its just way too messy (shots crazily flying around to the sense that you would not even know how you die). This is just my opinion, as some people might love rooms with alot of people so they could get more kills, and kill steal might be easier. I disagree to that, as you might be a easier victim to get killed.

Concluding everything that i have just said. Resistance: Fall of man is a really great game. Not lacking in anything compared to current shooter games, unique online modes. Even though it is a game during 2006, i will still recommend it to anyone out there who looks for a decent shooting game. Dont be too affected by the 'alien vs human' plot, this game is far more exciting than you ever expected it to be!
Have a nice day!

Chaos head

Here comes the next anime review that i will doing. Chaos head isnt a bad anime, pretty good one i would say. It can be very confusing throughout, but please bear with it, this show still deserves to be watched. I would say the plot of this anime is really unique, it is one of a kind that you will never expect! This could be the cause of confusion for the audience, but it is also the capturing point of the anime. I can confidently say that a plot like this arent gonna come by easy, people who desires innovative plots should definitely watch this! This anime is released in 2008 with a total of 13 episodes. A short but still satisfying story. Overall, this anime is about 'Creation of a new world' those kind. A common phase goes, 'Creation always comes after destruction'. What will happen to the world?!?! See it for yourself.

My rating : 7/10
This anime starts with a guy named Nishijo Takumi. He is a outcast of the society and lives in a container. He segregate himself from the society and chooses to live in his own world where he could be treated as 'god'. His own world would be the gaming and anime world which he is most good at. Everything was fine until he meet this mysterious person named 'shogun' in his game chat. Shogun send takumi a whole barrage of the same image link, tempting takumi to click. Little did he know, the image shows a man being brutally pinned by stakes to a wall. The next day, takumi came across a murder scene and it appears to be the exact same scenario, leaving him trapped in this confusion of events.
Takumi suffers from serious delusions due to his segregated lifestyle. In order to clear the confusions he faced, he researched and trampled upon the 'new generation', which is a series of unusual events. He attempts to distanced himself from the outside world, however circumstances would not allow it. Slowly, his life gets caught up with these events and he came to meet a bunch of girls who appears to be involved with these paranormal events. Being unsure of what is real and who to trust, takumi got himself in a larger dilemma than expected while someone is plotting something real bad behind the scenes.
Pardon me for the unclear explanation. Its real hard to give a detailed explanation regarding the plot, so i just did a brief one. Anyway, judging from the images above, you can notice that this anime is majority girls. So thats 1 major point why you should watch this anime (for guys). Girls with swords! Those who love girls fighting should give this anime a try!
Opening song for this anime is F.D.D, sang by Kanako Ito. Its not bad i would say, pretty good. Give it time and you will tend to like it after hearing a couple of times.

Have a nice day!

Marvel vs Capcom 3 [My main teams]

Sup guys! Review for Marvel vs Capcom 3 is up few days ago, and now i will be talking about my 3-person teams that i have been often using in offline/online mode. As you guys already know, mvc3 is played with 3 characters on each team. Assists can be call in anytime during the battle. Characters can also be switched back and forth anytime in the battle, depending on your situation. So i will be giving short summaries on individual characters of my teams (Skills/movement layout etc.). I will be doing 3 teams, going in order of which team proves more effective to me (Being the 1st team reviewed, most effective team etc.). Anyway, i DONT do any assist help (Just pure single character combo). Then, let's get started!

1. Dante/Hulk/Akuma

A great team to me, i would say. Dante being able to be offensive and defensive, with average hp as well. I would say he is of great importance to my team, good damage and speed. Hulk being able to be the 'tank' of my team. Last backup for my team and acquire the highest damage of the team. Akuma, i would say ONLY offensive. He has the lowest hp of the team, but one of the highest damage in the team other than hulk. Good speed though. This team is balanced i would say, with equally offense and defense.
  • Dante, tons of combo capability due to the fact that dante has alot of skills. One good single combo can last more than 40 + hits. Average hp and damage. Being one of the few that is able to teleport, dante is way superior to most of the characters in the character screen.
  • Hulk, one of the best damager in the game. Being the fact that he is big, he has alot of health, suitable to be a 'tank'. He is slow though (cant air-dash/run straight), however high damage and high hp make up for his flaws.
  • Akuma, very good to play as offense. Fast and has good combo capability. One of his moves, 'Tatsumaki Zankukyaku' can be very irritating to deal with, but good for the user. However, akuma has low health so i see no point in playing defensive with him. One of the best level 3 hyper combo acquired, simply unblockable.
2. Wolverine/Deadpool/Super skrull

Another good team i would say. Wolverine, the main attacker of the team. Can be very offensive and being able to chase down keepaway characters. He is the lead in my team, losing him can be quite depressing. He has average hp though. Deadpool, great keepaway. Able to play far-range and close-combat. Super skrull, being able to confuse opponents with his skills. I will leave him as the final backup for team. This team is mainly offense and keepaway, not really into defense.
  • Wolverine, a very fast and aggresive character. With good assist, wolverine can totally take out any character just by himself. Average hp but good damage. Great for chasing down keepaway characters as well. One of the best damagers in the game i would say.
  • Deadpool, a really good keepaway character. Can also be offensive (katana-rama etc.), but do not last long. Grenades and guns are your best friends, use them well and the match is yours to own. Average hp and damage, arent a bad character.
  • Super Skrull, a really balance-out character. Being able to move around the screen fast, fight close-combat and range-grab. 'Meteor mash' can be mindfucked for opponents as they wont know where you are gonna land. So its like playing mind games with your opponent in that split second!
3. Zero/Dormammu/Sentinel

Next team, a kinda good one i would say. Zero being the fast one in the team and also able to quick hits on the opponent. For me, zero is the main attacker of the team due to his intense speed. Dormammu, mostly as a keepaway, but also close-combat. Sentinel, the last resort of the team. He is slow but over-powered damage. This team i could also say mainly offense, with just dormammu playing keepaway at times.
  • Zero, one of the fastest character in the game. Able to sneak in low kicks etc. way quicker than other characters. Low damage and low health. Great for rushing down. I would say zero could only be played offensively due to his low health. He would suck really badly playing keepaway. Zero can be really played well with players using the fightstick instead of controllers. So great advantage to the fightstick users!
  • Dormammu, another good keepaway character. 'Dark holes' and 'liberation' are good keepaway skills, however dormammu is vulnerable during his skills. A missed hit and dormammu will get screwed by his opponent. One of the best pickup skills acquired though. Quite a 'tank' hp, so its kinda good for being a keepaway character.
  • Sentinel, the highest damager in the whole game! However, sentinel's health is greatly reduced during the patch. But still, with X-factor, sentinel can still be a god! Quite a balanced character though. Beams/rockets for far-range and still able to close-combat. However, disadvantage is that he is slow and leaves a lot of openings. So sentinel is kinda vulnerable to fast characters.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an awesome game for me. Being the first fighting game i ever acquired, this is a really good start. There are around 30 characters, but i just pick my 1st 9. I am not sure about you guys, but i would say every character could be played well as long as u put in effort during training in the 'lab'!

Have a nice day!

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

Marvel vs Capcom has always been a highlight since 10 years back after the 1st and 2nd version was released. I would bet every gamer out there would at least heard of this game before. Back then, everyone's waiting for the next and better version, and now it finally came. Marvel vs Capcom 3 is the latest verison of the Marvel vs Capcom series being released. Quite a new game i would say, released on 15 february 2011. I was recommended this game by my friend this game even before it was released, some gameplay and character trailers were already being released into youtube back then. At the 1st day of release, i was already going out to shops, ready to buy it. However, shops were all out of stock due to massive pre-ordering. I was only able to get it like 3-4 days after the official release date, and its through pre-ordering. Just imagine how popular Marvel vs Capcom could be.... its just insanity! Enough said, lets get straight down to the game details.

Gamefaqs rating : 8.1/10
My rating : 8/10

Goods : Gameplay is smooth and fun. Skills/combos are flashy and stylish. More new and awesome characters (Wesker and Dante). Easier controls compared to previous versions (air launch etc.).

Bads : Lack of other modes (Survival/spectator etc.). No solid story of any characters, just 1-2 minutes of 'happy ending'. Online matching is slow and gives problems. Useless DLCs (shadow mode etc.).
Lets start with the gameplay. Mvc3's gameplay is really great i would say. Moves executed smoothly just by pushing the right inputs. Combos can be easily performed in mvc3, given the fact that they reorganised the button settings where air lauching can be executed just by pressing X on the controller. In mvc2, air-launching would still require you pressing the directional buttons, and air combo-ing after that arent anything easy. While in mvc3, you can easily do air combos after launching opponents into the air. I would say one factor that makes mvc3 so fun is the standard button settings. It makes gameplay so much easier that you can actually do combos after combos (100-hit combo is also possible). Performing a 100-hit combo in mvc2, i would say its almost impossible, so just look at the difference!

-Mvc3 still has its usual features from the previous versions. Character assists are still available, which plays a great part in continuing combos, making the game even more impressive. Hyper combo exchange are also back in mvc3. Characters are able to do its hyper and then tag in another character's special right away, dealing massive damage. Hyper combo exchange can be easily executed just by pressing the inputs of another character's hyper during the process of the 1st character hyper.
-New stuff in mvc3! First of all, air exchanges. Characters are able to be tagged in during air combos to continue air combo-ing with the other characters. This can be easily done by just pushing (up/down/left/right + X) inputs. Next up, snap back. Its just a hit that forces the current opponent character away and the next character member have to enter the fight. Next up, level 3 hyper combo. This hyper combo requires 3 bars, which in return deal massive damage, of up to 1/2 of the whole hp bar for any character.
-The main factor that differentiates mvc3 and the previous versions, the X-factor!!! X-factor is like a major enhancement of stats for any character, with way higher damage, chip and speed. There are 3 levels of x-factor. Activating X-factor when having 3 characters alive in the team, would be the level 3 X-factor. Activating X-factor when having 2 characters alive, would be the level 2 X-factor. Activating X-factor with only 1 character alive, would be the level 1 X-factor, which is also the strongest X-factor where the only living character would be able to attain godly damage and speed. Though X-factor only last around 10 seconds, it is more than enough to slaughter a full team of 3! X-factor can be very helpful and hateful. Help ful in the sense of helping you to turn the tables around (turn a losing match into a win match). Hateful in the sense of being slaughtered by opponent's X-factor at the last few seconds(turning you from a 'winner' into a loser).
Now i will talk about the character selection. 38 usable characters currently in the game (including Jill and Shuma). New characters apart from previous versions are of course welcome to mvc3. Dante and Wesker are of course welcomed by the world. While characters like Modok and Thor, i think they are just basically shit! Being a player of mvc3, i prefered the aggressive and fast ones like wolverine, wesker and zero. Slow  characters like thor, arthur and modok. I dont think i will ever use them if i have the choice. Character selection i would say is kinda balanced, with good and bad ones. And of course, there will always be at least 1 over-powered character (Sentinel etc.).
Now i will give a brief summary of the whole game. There is a offline mode, which consists of the arcade mode, verses mode, training mode and mission mode. A online mode (ranked/player match), lobby matches and the shadow mode. A license card where all your details/scores are recorded (match win/lose, offline/online play time, current rank etc.) DLCs are constanly coming, even till now.

-Arcade is good though, accompany with several difficulties (though i think that 'very easy' should not even be inside, b/c AI would just be dumb mofos). There is 7 stages in total, including the fight with galactus. Stages get harder as you proceed, but still managable. Gameplay in arcade is fun, however the ending you get in the end is so unsatisfying. For example, hulk defeated galactus, and so we get his ending. He ends up together with chris to kill nemesis, wtf? So does that mean we get to see hulk in the next resident evil game?!?! There is no story, and i would at least expect a individual ending, and its like marvel-capcom teamwork ending... Then whats up with the 6 stages of fight before getting to galactus, defeating them for no reason and in the end we are all friends. Bullshit story i would say. Same goes to spencer, zero, wolverine endings etc. It just dont make sense to me, no starting but theres a ending, thats crap.
-Just 4 offline modes i would say its very little. Missions are boring. So all we could do is to play arcade and go into training. Capcom should add in more modes like survival, time attack etc. That would at least make offline play more interesting. Just 1 more thing about game modes, there is no spectator mode in lobby fights!!! So we have to keep watching license cards banging each other until it is our turn? Thats boring ttm, and if people play keep-away matches, then i guess we can just go for a pee and take a bite before its our turn.
-Online matches, one of the major factor of fighting games. I would say mvc3 online is ok. Lag is mainly due to the players so i cant blame anyone. Just that looking for matches online can be a pain in the ass. Its slow and gives problems at times.
-Last thing, about the DLCs. To me, they arent anything useful. I am not really a fan of jill and shuma and their trailers dont interest me, so i didnt buy them. Costume DLCs, which make characters lose their style and make them look like clowns, not for me either. Shadow mode, i bought the first 2 and its nothing special. There is up to shadow mode #7 till now, but i dont bother buying anymore of it. Capcom should just spend their time on character DLCs rather than on useless shadow mode.
Anyway, i will still encourage gamers out there to get this game. What matters to any game is its gameplay. Problems i mentioned above are just minor ones. There is not much of a problem relating to gameplay, its great and awesome. If you love fast and aggressive fights, this game is definitely for you regardless whether u like marvel/capcom or not.

Have a nice day!

Hellsing

Sorry guys for the delay of posts, was busy with school work in the past few days. Anyway, here goes my next anime review. Let me make this clear, Hellsing Ultimate is the original series which follows the exact same plot as the hellsing manga. Hellsing: The Dawn, is another series, but with the same main characters and a totally different plot. These 2 series might be similar at the start, however they both have totally different endings. Hellsing Ultimate, currently have only up to episode 8, even though the manga has finished (Rumors saying further episodes will be released in america 2011/2012) but please dont put too much hope on it, rumors are mostly unreliable. Hellsing: The Dawn has a total of 13 episodes. These 2 series are kinda old  since they are both released in 2006 and 2001 respectively. Storyline is kind of confusing as it proceeds, but still able to understand in the end. I would say this anime is about past feuds. Once alucard, also known as the 'original and strongest vampire' awakens, dangers around the world awaits him. The world will never be the same again.

My rating : 7.5/10

In the anime, 'Hellsing' is known as a organisation formed to protect the queen and the empire from any sources of evil. This organisation is under the lead of, Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Former master of alucard after her father passed away. Alucard pledged his loyalty to the hellsing family after being defeated by Integra's grandfather 100 years back. In hellsing, basically its just a 3 person job. Hellsing's loyal butler, Walter C. Dornez, together with integra and alucard takes on the task of exterminating anyone who dares opposes or threatens the empire.  However later in the anime, a young girl, Seras Victoria jions the crew. She was once a police officer, but due to unexpected circumstances, she was turned into a vampire by alucard. Together, they rid off hundreds of undead, hordes tougher than the previous. If we are talking about vampires, there will of course be priests! Thus, one more group in the game, making fights even more interesting and intense. So dont miss out on the action!

Personally, i prefer Hellsing Ultimate more. Reason being, i think the story ends in a more accomplished/completed way. And of course, Hellsing Ultimate is a more violent version with bodies cut into pieces and blood splashing everywhere, thats why i like it. For Hellsing: The Dawn, they sensored most of those bloody scenes, so i guessed it isnt that perfect and the ending is complicated.
Even for Hellsing Ultimate, i could only watch till episode 8, but i still continue to see the manga and finished it. I would say the entire plot is good, just that if it were all in graphics instead of stagnant black-white pictures, it would be way better.

Opening song for Hellsing: The Dawn is 'Logos naki world' by yasushi ishii. There is no opening song for Hellsing Ultimate. 'Logos naki world', i would say its ok, not too bad. Suits well with the anime i would say. I did not download it, but i will still put the download link here for those who want it.

Megaman X4 final boss guide (SPOILER ALERT)

Here goes, the final boss of Megaman X4, Sigma. Previously in the game, after defeating general, you would have thought its the end. However, the destruction is still going on, that would mean someone is still controlling the entire situation even with general defeated. That person is none other than Sigma, the once leader of the maverick hunters. Sigma betrayed the maverick hunters, with the only goal to exterminate humankind, and YOU have to battle against him to end everything.

After defeating general, you will be teleported to a space satellite. You will first have to battle the 8 maverick leaders again before fighting sigma. These 8 maverick leaders should not be a problem to you, as you would now have all skills learnt and with increased vitality bar. Then lets cut the useless talk and move straight to the battle with sigma.

There will be 3 forms of Sigma, and you would have to fight all 3 of them in a row. First goes, his first form, the reaper. Looks strong though, but actually he is even easier to kill than battling the maverick leaders. He has a very obvious attack pattern, so dont missed it. Weakness = Fire

For zero,
When starting the battle, dont move around, just stay at that postion. Sigma will just disappear. For about 1-2 seconds, he will reappear right above you. Seeing him above you, immediately do a ryuenjin. He will be on fire and then disappear again. He will reappear right above you for a 2nd time, and you just have to ryuenjin him again. Once you had ryuenjin him twice, quickly jump and clinch to the nearest wall, as high as possbile. Sigma would appear at the 1 far end, and then do a reaper swipe across the whole screen. However, as you clinch as high as possbile, seeing him approaching, just jump over him, and then go back to the usual position. So his attack pattern goes, appearing above you twice and then do a reaper swipe and then repeat this pattern. All you have to do is ryuenjin him twice and then jump over his reaper swipe and then repeat this steps. His 1st form will be defeated easily.

1. Dont hesistate to ryuenjin him. If you hesistate, you might get hit by his lightling balls he is about to release. So just be fast and attack him before he does.

For X,
It is the same thing, just that now you are using rising fire. Battle starts, stay at that position. Knowing his attack pattern, rising fire him twice then clinch on the nearest wall. Jump over his reaper swipe. Repeat this steps, his 1st form will be defeated without you even reducing any hp.

Next up, Sigma's 2nd form. An evolved version compared to when he was still the leader of the maverick hunters. He can be a pain in the ass if you just rush to him and keep slashing without thinking. His skills are hurting, and some of his skills might seem unblockable at the start and obviously stronger than his 1st form.  But once you get used to his fighting style, it should be ok. Weakness = None

For zero,
Can be a very tough fight if you are just gonna take him head on without thinking how his attacks really works. I would say a few tries is needed to understand his attacks in order to evade it and use it to your advantage. Even though he is in his 2nd form, he has his attack patterns. As the battle starts, he will jump to the center of the screen and swing his spear 1 round around himself. This is your chance, attack 1 time when he is in the air, then wait for him to swing his spear. Try to stay close below him, but not directly under him. As he throws his spear for a round, seeing it approaching you, do a double jump to dodge it. Make sure your double jump enables you dodge the spinning spear and at the same time do a air slash at sigma, who is still hanging in the air until he gets back his spear. Keep attacking if possible until he gets back his spear. Once he gets back his spear and land on ground, be prepared.

1. His 2nd skill, which i would say is a very annoying skill, where he will throw his spear at your direction. Whenever the spear landed, that whole platform will be on sparks. He would then do a skill to take you out, regardless you are on wall/ground. An absolute attack i would say, can be hard to dodge, but still its possible. After he landed from his spear spinning skill, he will jump again to do his 2nd skill. Be alert, estimate the timing that he will throw his spear and jump before that (Dont do a double jump). He will throw his spear at you, however he will miss as his spear will just go pass above you as you drop back down from your jump. In order to make this go well, i would recommend a few tries to get used to it. His spear would miss you and will strike the wall instead, that wall will be sparked. Attack sigma as he misses. He will then jump to the other corner and do a eye-laser on the whole ground. Before he does that, quickly jump-dash/dash-jump to the wall behind him and clinch to the wall. That would avoid his so-called absolute attack. His attack pattern starts with spear-spinning skill and then his 2nd skill. Afterwards, its back to his spear-spinning skill again. So he is just like repeating his 2 skills in order, over and over again. There are openings during the execution of his skills, so its best to dodge and at the same time attack. It will take some time to adapt to it, so do not worry. Sigma 2nd form can be easily defeated once you grasp his fighting style and retaliate accordingly.
2. One more thing about his 2nd skill. Dont ever let him throw the spear when you are standing on ground. The spear will strike the ground, causing the whole platform to be sparked. You would have no choice but clinched on to the nearest wall. Sigma would then summon 4 boomerangs and direct it at you one after another. I would say it is unblockable, as no matter how i jump, i will always get hit at least once. Maybe if you lucky, you can out-jump it. However, the probability of being that lucky is very low. So i would suggest you always lure him to throw spear towards the wall, so as to escape his 'absolute' attack and even land a hit on sigma.

For X,
Since i have explained his attack patterns above, using X is simply the same. I would advise switching to buster mode immediately when the battle with sigma form 2 starts. Dodge accordingly to his attacks, be constantly charging and shooting when you see openings. Play safe and dont be greedy for hits. Its ok to take a while longer to kill him rather than eating damage just b/c you are too hasty.
Theres another way to fight against sigma form 2. That would be using the web spider skill. It does damaged sigma, but not to the extend of stunning him. So its your choice, this may be more convenient as you do not need to be constanly charging.

The finale, Sigma's true form. Indeed, he is the strongest boss in the entire game. Unpredicted moves with painful skills. He can just summon midgets from nowhere which could deal serious damage if hit. He has no obvious attack pattern, fighting him i would say requires your skill with the controls and how fast you think (whether to play offensive/defensive) when you see openings. I died a couple of times in order to finally kill him. So i would say he is indeed a worthy challenge. There will be a medium hp recovery tank for you to recover your hp lost in the previous 2 fights, so there is not too much worry that his final form is going to take advantage of you. Its a somehow fair fight. Weakness = None

For zero,
It can be very challenging if you play offensive, but very satisfying if you triumph. It can also be kinda relaxing if you play safe throughout. Lets start with being offensive then. At the start of the battle, sigma will disappear and midgets will start appearing (ice/fire/thunder). They can deal serious damage if you fail to dodge it. However no worries, they can be very easy to rid off. These midgets are weak against ryuenjin, so just do it once you see them, dont let them had the chance to execute their moves first. You need to be fast in order to do that. Once these midgets disappeared/destroyed, sigma large face will appear at the most left bottom of the screen. Beware, his face have 2 effects (blowing you towards the wall with spikes OR sucking you + rocks into his mouth and then blow all out bit by bit).

If you decided to play offensive :
1. Countering his blowing skill, you should keep dashing towards sigma face and once you had the chance, do slash beast skill on him. Make sure you keep constant dashing and do slash beast skill when you had the chance. There is a risk that you might be careless and blown to the spikes, but its satisfying if you succeed.
2. Countering his sucking skill, you should make use of the 'blue' midget as a sheild to prevent you from being sucked in to his mouth. While he is suck, slash the rocks approaching from the other direction. Once he is done sucking, there is a 1-2 second delay, so quickly jump over the blue midget and keep slashing/air-slashing his face and the rocks coming out. I would say there is a 70% chance that the rocks flying out will hit you, but there is a 30% chance where you will not get hit and still able to damage him (I have done it before, so its possible). These are for brave people who dont mind losing hp for extra damage. After his rocks are all shot out, there is a 1-2 second delay before he disappear, so slash him while you can.
3. Afterwards midgets will appear, so just settle it with ryuenjin. His true form will appear next, being able to do 2 skills too. One of it would be the laser-scan skill, this can be easily dodge by standing close below him. Then keep doing ryuenjin, it will reach his head (You can also choose to double jump and do a spinning air-slash). His head is his weak point, so aim for it. Another of it would be, he doing a full ground laser-burst, which can be dodged by just doing a double-jump at the appropriate time. You can do a air slash on his head while double-jumping. You can differentiate these 2 skills by the positioning of the midgets, so be alert.
4. There is a simple pattern of his attacks. Midgets appear 1 time -> Sigma face form appears -> midgets appearance again -> Sigma true form appears. This repeats over and over again. However the skills he use is random, so i will not know when he will use what skills. I only know when he will appear, so i could be prepared.

If you decided to play defensive :
1. As his midgets appear, dont attack it, just stay away or dodge it. For his lightling midget, its possible to jump in between those lightling balls to dodge it. It may be difficult, but its possible with practise.
2. For his sucking skill, stay behind 'blue' midget, slash rocks in opposite direction approaching. After that, immediately jump and clinch on to the right wall to prevent the spat-out rocks to hit you.
3. For his blowing skill, just keep dashing towards sigma face and dont attack. This will take out the risk of being blown to the spikes. Just slash abit once he had stop blowing.
4.  For his true form, i would say carry on the same moves i mentioned above. Its safe enough and still able to do damage. It will take longer though, but if everything goes well, you may even defeat sigma without losing any hp.

For X,
I would assume you have Ultimate X. Below is the link to get all the upgrades for X.
I would advise you to get the plasma shot upgrade. When fighting sigma form 3, charged and shoot the plasma shot to destroy the midgets. It should be sufficient enough. However, if its not, dont worry as X is able to keep a distance with the midgets and still able to release his charged shot. Dealing with the lightling midget, i would still advised getting used and learning to jump between those lightling balls to dodge them.
1. For his blowing skill, i would advise dashing and charging alone. Until his blowing stops, then fire your shot (The plasma will applied additional mini damage to sigma). Its not advisable to dash, charge and shoot at the same time, you can easily get blown to the spikes.
2. For his sucking skill, you can choose to play defensive like how zero play defensive. You can also be offensive, however be prepared to eat some damage. You should be constanly charging whenever you had the chance. Make use of the 'blue' midget as a sheild for awhile, and plasma shot it. Then quickly charge again and immediately plasma shot sigma's mouth to destroyed the rocks before more rocks spat out. He may have spat out 1-2 rocks by that time, but its better than 1 whole load. This plasma shot at his mouth stops rocks from coming out and still do damage to his face form. Great and risky tactic i would say.
3. For his true form, since i have told you his attack pattern above. His weak point is his head. So by knowing when his true form will appear, jump and clinch to the left wall until the same level with his head, keep charging and shooting his head. This would only applies with his ground laser burst skill. For his laser-scan skill, i would say jump and shoot accordingly to the direction he scan his laser. For example, when he scans the ground, jump on to the midget and jump-shot him. Just dont let his laser scan you. This should be enough to defeat sigma, but i would say succeeding in the 1st try would be difficult. I recommend 3-4 tries.

Congratulations! You had beated the game! Enjoy the last cutscene! Once you had cleared the game, the final savepoint would be the space satellite, so you could fight sigma again. Ok, i am done with all my guides regarding megaman X4, hope it helps.

Have a nice day!

Megaman X4 boss guides 3 (SPOILER ALERT)

Here goes the 3rd boss guide of Megaman X4. Bosses i will be going through in this post would be Colonel, Iris, Double and General. You guys might ask where is Sigma!?!? Dont worry, since he is the last boss of the game i will specially leave him for an individual post. Lets not waste more time and here goes......

First up, Colonel. The next in command of repliforce after general. He is indeed superior to any of the 8 maverick leaders, he is fast and is able to teleport around the map. However he is only able to teleport on ground, so need not worry of any air attacks. His damage arent kiddy, so do not play around with him. Weakness = None (Just bring him down through pure tactics)

For zero,
I would advise you to stick with normal slashes throughout the fight. However, if you are skilled enough, you may use various skills to damage colonel (damage is still the same, as he has no weaknesses). When starting the battle, he would either teleport away or use the 3-slash skill. From my observation, he always start the battle with the 3-slash skill. This may be hard to dodge at first, but very easy once you are flexible with your controls. He shoots 3 slashes at you, up and down slashes. Seeing his up-slash shot approaching, just dash pass it, the slash shot would just go pass above you. Seeing his down-slash shot approaching, just jump. After shooting the 3 slashes, there is a 1-2 second interval before colonel teleports away. Take advantage of this interval and land a hit before he disappears.

1. After he disappears, quickly jump to either side of the walls and clinch on it. Reason-being, he would just appear from nowhere and land a quick slash. Once you have clinch on walls, this should not be a problem. From my observation, i have figured a pattern from colonel. Before he reaches 1/2 hp, whenever after his 3-slash skill, he would always do a sudden appearance slash. So by realising this pattern, you could reduce his hp bar to 1/2 easily.
2. Lightling skill. Colonel's only area skill. This can be very damaging, but still able to dodge it. All you hav to know is that when he is trying to do this skill, he will always appear in the centre of the map. So be alert, notice where he appears. His lightling skill causes 6 lightling sparks to be evenly spread out on ground, after 1-2 second, these sparks shoots upwards. Anything contacts with it will be damaged. Whenever seeing him appearing in the centre, quickly jump and clinch to the nearest wall. There will be space intervals between these lightling sparks, jump down to these space intervals and you will be safe from being sparked. This attack will be more frequent when he is below 1/2 hp.
3. If battle last long enough, he will use his large wave slash. The further the slash go, the larger it will become. Sounds tough uh? It can be very easy to dodge. Whenever noticing him saying some random shit and then jump and land a slash on the ground, he is doing it. Seeing ground slash coming, just double jump over it. If you want to play safe, then just jump and clinch on the wall as high as possible. Jump down when slash passes through below you. By knowing his attack patterns, there will be more openings for you to land attacks on, so without much effort, colonel will be defeated. No skill to be learnt.

For X,
Since colonel has no weaknesses, just stay with buster mode and keep charging whenever you had the chance. Knowing the attack patterns of colonel like i have mentioned above, reducing his hp bar to 1/2 should not be a problem. It is just that now its different since you are shooting with X, which i would say its easier. You do not have to rush to colonel and damage before he disappears, just charge-shot him from far, decent damage done. For his lightling skill, dodge it at the right time, charge-shot him whenever you had the chance. The win is yours. No skill to be learnt.

Next up, Iris. She is no longer the cute girl you once knew. Being grieved for her brother's death, she falls into the darkness of power, attempting to avenge her brother. A great problem at first, it gets easier once you know how she is going to execute her attacks. Weakness = None

For zero,
It can be easy or it can be tough. It all just depends on how you play it. Ok, lets talk about the easy way first. As the battle starts, just keep attacking iris, that would spawn more minibots floating towards you. For now, no matter how many times you hit iris, her health bar wont go down. Dont worry, its not any bug or glitch. Just keep attacking and destroying the minibots before they could touched you. After about 10 seconds or more after battle starts, iris will release the crystal from her body. This crystal is her health bar. Keep in mind, the crystal would always above iris. Surrounding the crystal will the naturally be the minibots spawned. It may look like a unbreakable fortress, however breaking it is a piece of cake. Do a ryuenjin, that would both destroy the minibots approaching and damage the crystal. After that, do a few slashes to keep iris away. Keeping iris a distance away from you is always a good thing. Once distance secured, do another ryuenjin, it will again damage the crystal. Keep doing this until she use her second skill.

1. That would be she going to the most bottom right corner and charge her arm beam, the crystal will then follow below you. This i would say you would have to gauge your timing. When iris fired her beam, the crystal would then stop moving and it will do a vertical beam. So you would have to gauge the time iris will fire her beam so as to escape the vertical beam. The best way to dodge both beams would be clinching on walls. While clinching, slash the minibots approaching. As iris beam stopped, faster jump down and do as much damage on crystal as possible as now it is the most vulnerable, where no minibots surround it. When crystal go back above iris. Do the ryuenjin steps again, easy method and iris is defeated. No skill will be learned.

The tough way would be just doing slashes throughout the whole battle. It is possible, but it will take longer and it tests your abilities. Just keep doing air slashes and retreat abit then do it again. Gauge and dodge her attacks. It may not be easy, but if you love challenges, this is a good one for you. Only zero can fight iris, so there will be no X guide on this.

Next up, Double. He is no longer the fatass u knew, but a supreme badass that kills anyone to pleasure himself. He was a spy for sigma all along to slaughtered the maverick hunters. A tough fight and his attacks are as pain as fuck. Weakness = None

For X,
I would advise using buster mode throughout the fight. From my observation, using skills like double cyclone on him can be very tough. He will come out with lots of gadgets that will come hunting you, which can be a pain in the ass. While using the buster mode, he will NOT release these gadgets, so its easier to fight him. As the battle starts, he will do his 1st skill, which is he fly upwards and descend to the centre of the screen and then pierce-rush in which other direction you are. This skill can be easily noticed as double will always say 'evil fly' before he descends to the centre of the screen. So just jump over his attack when he rush-pierce you. You should be constanly charging and firing shots at double. He have like 2 openings when he does this skill. First opening : when he descends to the centre, 1-2 seconds before he do his pierce, this is your chance to shoot. Second opening : After you jump over his pierce, shoot him again. You should be able to fire 2 fully charged shots.

1. His 2nd skill, shooting cyber circles. He would normally do this after his 1st skill. He either shoots 1 or 2 circles at you. This can be dodged by dash-jump or jump-dash. However, you may be trapped at corners at times by these circles, thus eating damage. So just be confident and dont stay too far away from him, keep a comfortable distance in between. If everything goes well, you should be able to take off 1/2 of his hp.
2. His final skill, gigantic cyber slashes. He would do 2 big slashes, 1 upper slash and 1 bottom slash, one after another. He would normally do this when his hp bar is less than 1/2. When noticing him floating at 1 corner and charging, faster dash to the other end at get ready. His first slash can be dodged by just dashing pass below it. After that, quickly jump and clinch to the wall, as high as possible, that should be able to dodge his bottom slash. If you are unlucky, you will get hit.

It will not be a easy fight, its ok to eat some damage as long as you manage to defeat it. As long as you are using buster mode, he will just do this 3 skills. Learn how to dodge it, attack at the right times, defeating double should not be a problem. Only X can fight double, so there will be no zero guide on this.

Next up, General. The leader of the repliforce. He is big as fuck, with armor covering all over him, almost looks like he had the ultimate defence. However, he has 1 weak point which is his head. Aiming for his head will do the job, however its easier said than done. Weakness = None

For zero,
This tests your confidence and reflexes on the controls. I would advise you to stay on ground as long as possible. This would cause general to float low, chasing after you. This would also make your job easier so as to be able to reach and attack his head. As the battle starts, he will float towards you. You can do a decoy. While standing near a wall, wait for him to float towards you and when you are under his feet, he would stomp flat on you (when he stomp, it would take 2-3 seconds for him to recover, so its your chance). Gauge the timing he is gonna do that and then quickly climb/clinch on the wall till you reach the same level as his head. Jump off and do a spin slash on his head, that would damage him. Remember to dash away once you hit his head, to prevent you dropping on to his lower body, which will in turn damage yourself.

1. Another thing. If he floats real low till you cant stand under him, just clinch on wall. When he approach jump over him. If you are confident, while jumping over him, do a overhead spinning slash, that would hit him. If you want to play safe, then just jump over him.
2. Another skill of his, which is floating at one corner and shooting both of his arms out. Blue rings would then be released from the holes in his arms. These rings are shot at the direction of you, so you should be moving around to avoid this. Seeing his arms approaching, dont worry it will not hurt you. Use it to your advantage, his arms can be use as 'stairs'. Jump on to the 1st arm then on to the 2nd arm. Be sure not to get hit by the blue rings while you are doing that. While on the 2nd arm, stay there, the arm will automatic reverse and move back towards general. When close enough, jump and do a spin slash on general's head and then air-dash away. Dont be greedy for hits, you may get hurt. The arms float back and forth for 2 rounds, so you should be able to land 2 hits on his head. However, you might fail to dash away while hitting, so beware of your hp.
3. When he is about 1/2 or less hp, he would do his 3rd skill. Which is summoning 6 cyber knifes from his belt and then releasing at you. While you are on the ground, he should be at the same level as you before doing this. So there is only 1 way to dodge this and attack him at the same time. Among these 6 knifes, there is a gap in between, so take your chance and dash-jump through this gap while the knifes are being released. General should still be in that position. Do a double jump and then a air-spin slash on his head. General should do this for 2 times, so you could attack him 2 times as well. After this skill, he should be doing his arm shots again, so just jump/attack/dodge well. General should be defeated. You may get hit or even killed when fighting him, its okay b/c he arent any small fry too.

For X,
It should be easier for X since he is far-range. However, X may not be too flexible when facing general close-up, but its still okay. I would advise when using X, refrain from attacking general at any times EXCEPT the time when he shoot his arms out. And of course, i would advise you to use buster mode. So when general is floating and moving around, just jump and dodge him.

1. When he shoot his arms out, jump and reach his 2nd arm. Jump to dodge blue rings approaching. Release a charged shot once you see his head and then jump off. I am playing the safe way with X, so it would take longer than zero. Eventually, you would still be able to kill general.

I am done with the 4 elite bosses in the game, however there is still Sigma. I will be doing his guide in my next post, so dont worry guys.

Have a nice day!
